Welcome to The Urban Vets! By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
The Urban Vets provides veterinary consultations, preventive care, end-of-life support, and selected treatments at your home. We reserve the right to refuse services if your pet's condition requires emergency or specialized care beyond our scope.
2. Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments must be booked in advance and confirmed by our team.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
3. Client Responsibilities
Please ensure your pet is either safely restrained or can be easily restrained during the visit, if necessary.
Inform us of aggressive behavior, health conditions, or special handling needs.
An adult (18+) must be present during the visit or provide authorization for someone else to act on your behalf.
Someone must be available to handle and care for your pet during the visit. Please ensure your pet is ready for the house call visit to avoid delays. We kindly ask that pets are prepared in advance, as we want to make the best use of our time and provide efficient care — no need for last-minute preparations like chasing or rushing.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept the following payment methods: Cash, GCash, PayMaya, and Bank Transfer.
A non-refundable prepayment for the booking fee/travel fee is required at the time of booking. This fee secures your appointment and covers the travel costs to your location, which are incurred regardless of whether the appointment proceeds.
If you need to reschedule, you may do so within 24 hours of your original appointment without incurring another pre-payment.
You are allowed two reschedules. After that, a new booking and pre-payment will be required.
Additional charges for services provided during the appointment will be settled after the visit.
We may request access to your pet’s previous medical history for safe and accurate treatment.
We respect your privacy and will not share your information without consent unless required by law.
The Urban Vets is not an emergency service. We will refer you to the nearest full-service veterinary clinic or hospital for urgent or life-threatening conditions.
While The Urban Vets takes every precaution to ensure safe, professional care, we are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss to your pet during or after our visit, except in cases of proven negligence on our part. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any risks associated with the care of your pet.
Teleconsultation services are available for non-emergency veterinary advice, follow-up care, and general pet health inquiries.
A scheduled teleconsultation is considered a formal consultation, and payment is due at the time of booking.
Teleconsultations are not a substitute for in-person veterinary care and are limited to advice based on the information provided during the session. If your pet requires hands-on examination or urgent care, we recommend seeking in-person treatment.
The Urban Vets is not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from teleconsultations, as we are unable to physically assess your pet.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our official channels.
